I am working part time with two different security agencies and devoting most of my time pursuing my love of photography. For the past two years, I have worked for three months in the spring on a fisheries research project at Little Goose Dam. The awe inspiring beauty of the Snake River and the desert environment has been the inspiration for many of my recent photographs. photosbycharlie's BlogNo blog posted yet. Submit your own blog now! Shasta: I once read an article by a prominent photographer. He said that instead of concentrating on the subject we should "capture the light." You have captured the light well in this photograph. Good job. I like the effect of the shadows on the lower part of the mountains. 12-01 20:02 on John Day: Wow! Magnificent capture of the colors. Where is this formation? Although I have visited the John Day area, I do not think I have ever seen this unique rock formation. It looks almost as if it might be the walls of a castle. 12-01 19:57 on natures painting: The John Day fossil beds are one of my favorite areas. I love the beautiful colors, as if it were painted by the hand of God. You have captured it beautifuly. 10-20 23:38 on Wisconsin Dells: Thank you for comments. It is a very beautiful place. There seems to be another beautiful panorama of the river, the cliffs, and the forests around every bend in the river.
